Upnorth was formed in 1999 to provide refrigeration, air-conditioning and an industrial design consultation service to the local Leisure, Retail and Building Services Industry.
Primarily specialising in the design, installation and commissioning of Building Services Refrigeration technologies, our time at this point was spent providing liquid temperature control to Brewery Organisations and refrigeration based Air-Conditioning systems to local businesses and contractors.
The core of our business is 'Engineering Stability, Safety & Sustainable Solutions' this has become our business code.
With Refrigeration Engineering as our technical foundation, Upnorth has developed to be a national, multi-company leader in the design, supply, installation and commissioning of packaged, custom built and applied refrigeration systems for food, retail, buildings and process industries.
In the development of 'Refrigeration for Foodservice 2002' Upnorth began investing design and technology into efficient commercial refrigeration processes used in the Catering Industry. As a result of the study many new technologies were offered and Upnorth Catering & Leisure Services was formed. A complete turnkey company providing all equipment to the Foods Service and Leisure Industry … currently the regions largest supplier of Catering & Refrigeration equipment.
Upnorth Group now employs over 40 local people and offers a multi-company portfolio incorporating other important associated industries. We are here to help and are dedicated to doing so.
